[Thor's grin is very like that of a spoiled child who has gotten his way.

He recognises the pettiness of trying to get his brother to be involved, especially when Loki seems so set against it, but he counts each concession by Loki to be involved as a victory.

He runs his fingers through his own hair.] You may braid it yourself, if you like. I've not had the time recently to do it myself.

I think I shall. You're not to complain of the final result, though.

You're not to make it look like some elaborate princess's frivolity. [Because you really would, wouldn't you.]

But you wanted braids, did you not?

Manly braid. Conveying strength and virility.

Yes, Thor. A manly braid it is.

[ THOUGH YOU'RE LEAVING YOUR HAIR IN HIS HANDS. LITERALLY. ]

[Thor grins and slaps Loki on the shoulder.]

To the baths then, brother.

[ ugh!! that makes him stumble before he catches himself and loki rolls his eyes as he heads in that direction, not waiting for thor ]

[Thor's expression falters a moment as Loki walks away.


But he fathers himself and hastens after him, managing to catch up just as they reach the baths.]

[ like this, he can nearly forget he's a prisoner. disrobing at thor's side, shrugging out of his tunic and trousers, and loki can nearly think it's as they were, children come in to bathe after a long day. ]

I'll be most displeased if we're interrupted... Though I suspect we will be. The others do enjoy your company far too much.

That at least we may ammend. Ho there, [Shirt half-off, Thor calls the guard over.]

See that we are not disturbed.

[ and Loki can see, even hidden behind a pillar as he is to properly undress, the reluctance the guard has. it seems no one really wishes to leave thor alone with him, a fact which makes loki's lips twist in a combination of smug pleasure and irritated frustration.

still, the guard finally agrees with a sharp nod of his head and a quiet, Yes, my Prince, and steps away to shut the door behind him, giving the two of them some semblance of privacy. ]

I did not think you'd actually request it, our solitude.

[He drops his armour, shirt, and breeches in a pile that sprawls halfways across the floor.

His brother seems determined to resist Thor's attempts to restore some semblance of normality to their relationship.]

Is there something I ought to fear?

[ Loki gestures down at himself, nude and unarmed, before flicking his hair back over his shoulders as he steps down into the bath. ]

Does it look as though I've any way to hurt you?
